Integrator helping police in Western Australia

Systems integrator Ajilon appears to be on a winning streak with projects involving police in Western Australia.

Ajilon is earning recognition for Check My Crime – a website allowing Western Australian residents to check and update property-related incident reports.

It has also won recognition for the Police Justice Information Exchange, a system that allows the WA Police to integrate prosecution, bail management and court bookings into one application.

Both projects have earnt Ajilon a finalist position in this year's Western Australia Information Technology and Telecommunication Awards (WAiTTA).

Ajilon was also recognised for its work on Landgate Locate, a Shared Location Information Platform that works with Google Earth to provide the public access to current and historical location-based information.

While the rest of the projects were developed in-house, Ajilon collaborated on Locate with location-based technology solutions company and Google partner, NGIS.

Additionally, Ajilon received praise for its work in the resources sector with a major resources company.

This isn't the first time Ajilon has been recognised by WAiTTA. Last year, the company won the WA Information Technology and Telecommunications award for developing the Public Sex Offenders Register.

Previous winners of the WAiTTA have included the Challenger Institute of Technology and Landgate International.
