inTechnology signs InfoExpress

inTechnology Australia has signed an agreement to distribute network access control products manufactured by US company InfoExpress.

Under the arrangement, inTechnology would be selling InfoExpress’ CyberGatekeeper software to the reseller channel. The range includes CyberGatekeeper LAN, Remote and CyberArmor.

The LAN and Remote products are described as “endpoint integrity” solutions meaning that they enforce security policies by auditing all systems before granting access to the network.

The CyberArmor protects PCs when they are on the internet, according to InfoExpress.

inTechnology would add the software to its existing portfolio of 802.1x wired and wireless security solutions, said Mark Winter, director of sales and marketing at inTechnology.

“There are a number of key players in this market space and InfoExpress have aligned themselves with all, so our channel partners know that selling this solution will allow these clients to not only safeguard their networks [but] they are also able to future proof their investment,” Winter said in a statement.

Meanwhile, inTechnology registered www.endpointintegrity and www.endpointassurance (com.au and .co.nz) and would be launching these websites within the next two months to assist resellers to understand the technology.

Todd Nakano, EVP, sales and marketing at InfoExpress said inTechnology’s appointment was part of the company’s plans to expand throughout Asia-Pacific.
