It has extended its partnership to distribute APC's data centre solutions and is looking for more resellers to take advantage of the market opportunities there.
Ingram will also distribute architecture solution InfraStruXure, and its data centre power distribution and cooling solutions, including APC's InRow Cooling solution.
Ingram has also appointed a solutions architect to support resellers with a dedicated enterprise configuration and test laboratory to help them design high-end solutions for their customers.
David Lenz, general manager Enterprise Technology Group, Ingram Micro said it expects the extended partnership to have a significant impact on its market share and will be appointing more resellers.
"APC's data centre solutions complement our existing offerings and enable us to offer resellers a complete range of products," he said.
Lenz said there is a strong trend to consolidate data centres using virtualisation and reduce costs by increasing energy efficiency in the data centre and this requires new data centre hardware to support their needs.
"The addition of APC's solutions makes Ingram Micro a one stop shop for data centre solutions, delivering our resellers the complete range of data centre hardware and software their customers require to support their new computing environments," he said.
