Ingram Micro has announced a new collaboration with Cohesity, aimed at aligning Cohesity’s data protection solutions with Ingram Micro’s portfolio of cloud, cybersecurity, and services-led offerings across the Asia-Pacific region.

The partnership will see those data protection solutions added to Ingram Micro’s regional coverage across Australia - already being available across both Singapore and Indonesia - and extend access to Cohesity’s data security, cyber resiliency and ransomware recovery capabilities through Ingram Micro’s Xvantage platform.

This relationship brings together Cohesity’s Helios data platform, including core solutions such as Cohesity DataProtect, Cohesity Gaia and Cohesity FortKnox into Ingram Micro’s Xvantage platform.

This unified digital experience aims to streamline operations by automating functions such as quoting, order management, real‑time tracking, and personalised recommendations. Partners can gain access to Ingram Micro’s technical services, including assessments, deployment, and managed services, delivered through Xvantage’s global infrastructure.

Joint enablement initiatives are delivered via Xvantage’s training modules and go‑to‑market capabilities. Procurement is simplified through flexible quote‑to‑order conversion, real‑time availability and pricing, automated credit and billing, and API‑based integration with existing systems.

Users of Xvantage can also gain access to technical resources, commercial models, and go‑to‑market support – all within a unified digital experience to accelerate growth and reduce complexity.

Ingram Micro Australia’s director of advanced solutions, cybersecurity, hybrid business applications and cloud, Kaaren Lewis, said Cohesity adds significant value to Ingram Micro’s portfolio by complementing its extensive line card and enhancing its partner offering in cyber resilience, data protection, and AI-powered data management.

“Our partners are looking for trusted, integrated solutions that help their customers strengthen cyber resilience and accelerate secure recovery," she said.

"Cohesity’s platform aligns perfectly with our focus on delivering high-value, AI-driven cybersecurity solutions through our channel, and we are excited to grow together across the region.”

Cohesity VP of channels and alliances, Peter Hanna, said forming this relationship with Ingram Micro will allow Cohesity to bring scale, reach, and partner engagement across the region.

“By helping partners simplify how they deliver advanced data security, we’re giving customers greater maturity and assurance in all aspects of their technical and people processes," he said.

“Effective cyber resilience depends on having every capability in place when detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber attacks,” continues Hanna, “Together, we’re helping build the foundation for long-term resilience in the digital era.”
