Ingram Micro adds BOSE to audio-visual lineup

Ingram Micro has entered a distribution agreement with audio equipment vendor BOSE, particularly with its professional range of loudspeakers, amplifiers and signal processing equipment.

The distributor will launch the range to its channel partners this month through various promotions and will provide training to select partners.

“The addition of BOSE to Ingram Micro’s growing portfolio of audio and video collaboration offerings enhances our ability to provide our channel partners with industry-leading unified communications solutions and services,” Ingram Micro general manager Andrew Upshon said.

“The BOSE Professional range confirms our ongoing commitment to provide channel partners with the best selection possible.”

BOSE Professional regional sales manager Christian Liebenberg said Ingram Micro was “the perfect partner” to help BOSE grow its market share in Australia.

“As the IT/AV industries continue to converge, Ingram Micro is well positioned to help us identify new business opportunities and to drive greater growth amongst its broad representation of Australian resellers,” Liebenberg said.

Upshon said Ingram Micro’s existing digital signage and education customer bases could now procure an entire solution from one distribution partner.

“BOSE wants to leverage Ingram Micro’s broad channel reach, as well as work closely with the AV/UC specialists here at Ingram, to bring its products to those businesses that are on the cusp of convergence,” he said.
