Senior Ingram Micro manager Drew Ritchie has joined Dicker Data as the distributor’s finance controller.
Ritchie was previously finance, planning and treasury manager at Ingram Micro, where he spent more than six years. He also spent two years at Tech Pacific, which Ingram Micro acquired in 2004.
A Dicker Data spokesperson confirmed to CRN that Ritchie started at Dicker Data in April.
According to his resume, Richie was a key figure at Ingram, where he was responsible for management of all treasury activities, forecasting and budgeting processes, managing the sales segmentation and vendor segmentation analysis teams, strategic analysis as well as advising the managing director on acquisitions and capital planning.
It marks another senior exec swapping sides between the two competing disties. In January, former Dicker Data commercial director Chris Price resigned from Dicker Data, then re-joined Ingram Micro in January to head up the distributor’s HP business.
CRN contacted Ingram Micro, but did not receive a response in time for publication.
