iiNet launches ecommerce services

Australian ecommerce provider eCorner has partnered with ISP iiNet to host and offer its ePages on-demand shop system to small and medium business.

iiNet will sell ePages directly to businesses that want to set up an online shop. Buyers don't have to be an iiNet customer nor do they have to have an existing online presence.

It includes hosting and web design templates and services such as Australia Post, eBay, PayPal, eWAY and TNSI payment gateways, Getprice shopping comparison and Temando shipping aggregator.

Further, it supports international sales in multiple languages, currencies and tax regions and is enabled for social media such as Facebook, Twitter, forums and blogs, the companies claimed.

iiNet hosting manager Kevin Clark said it’s  a “fantastic value-add for our small business customers”.

“It allows us to offer customers a professional and fully-featured e-commerce solution which they can implement in-house without engaging an expensive web designer.

"Implementation was also relatively painless and eCorner had us up and running quickly,” he said.

The price of the service ranged from $39-$149 per month.
