IFS has launched IFS Zero, an agentic AI platform that automates carbon-emissions data for asset-intensive industries such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, mining and aerospace.

Billed as an “emissions operating system”, IFS Zero is a single calculation platform for measuring, disclosing and optimising emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 categories.

The product applies agentic AI across the emissions data lifecycle — mapping sources, validating data, flagging anomalies and producing audit-ready outputs — so sustainability teams spend less time on manual reconciliation.

It works alongside the company’s broader Sustainability Management module, with IFS Zero going deeper on carbon.

IFS claims the platform can deliver an audit-ready emissions baseline within weeks, saving hundreds of hours of operational time a year and cutting data-collection effort by 30 per cent.

“For too long, sustainability has meant slow deployments, manual spreadsheets, and reporting after the fact,” said Caitlin Keam, vice-president of manufacturing and sustainability applications at IFS.

"IFS Zero replaces that with an agentic operating system that delivers an emissions baseline in short timescales and enables visibility into your day-to-day operations. It allows customers to move beyond compliance and start using sustainability as a true strategic advantage."
