CRNTech evolves in response to reader demand

In the 12 months since Haymarket Media introduced its groundbreaking CRNTech digital magazine more than 11,000 readers have spent about 3000 hours viewing nearly a quarter of a million pages of its content.

But this still isn't enough for CRN readers!

In our recent readership survey independently conducted by Venus Research 81 percent of our readers rated CRNTech digital magazine essential reading and a useful business tool and 48 percent rated the CRNTech reprint in CRN magazine as the most important content to them.

A huge 98 percent and 96 percent, respectively, voted product reviews and new product information as the content they most wanted to see on techpartner.news.

The April edition of the CRNTech digital magazine was the last in that format.

From today, CRNTech is a permanent new section on techpartner.news bringing the channel all the latest product news, reviews and group tests on a daily basis from Haymarket's unrivalled stable of tech titles around the globe such as CRNTech US, PC Authority, Secure Computing and Stuff.

"The channel tribe has spoken and we have listened and, as always, delivered," said CRN publishing director Andy Jackson.

"This new section will deliver our readers the content they want more frequently and offer channel marketers more flexible opportunities to advertise around this content without sacrificing any of the measurability of the digital magazine.

"It's important we continue to listen to our readers and to evolve with them."

CRN editor in chief Nate Cochrane said Haymarket's stable of technology product titles was a perfect fit for a channel obsessed with the latest gadgets.

"Our reseller community will now have a one-stop shop to get its daily hit of product news and reviews, delivered to them in a form that is as easy to consume on their PC at work as it is grazing on their mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad," Cochrane said.
