ASX-listed IBA Health has signed an agreement with the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) to implement its Total Hospital Information System (THIS).
The contact is worth about $18.5 million and will be shared between IBA Health and Technitium, an associate company of IBA’s Malaysian partner, FSBM Holdings.
IBA’s share from the initial contract will be around $9.3 million for software and implementation services, with recurring licence fees of $1.1 million per annum after an initial warranty period.
The deployment will automate the stages of UMMC's patient care starting from scheduling of treatment to discharge of the patient back to the community.
