HTC unveils powerhouse One X+

HTC has revealed the One X+ – an impressive, albeit incremental upgrade to the flagship HTC One X

The One X+ will have a faster Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked in at 1.7GHz as opposed to the original One X's 1.5GHz offering. That extra grunt, coupled with the ultra-smoothness of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean should make for an even zippier Android experience.

HTC's Sense 4.0 skin also gets the plus treatment with a new self-portrait mode available for the improved 1.6MP front-facing camera which promises to 'add subtle enhancements to skin and eyes.'

The power button in the One X+ will now activate the camera directly from the lockscreen in a feature that HTC has dubbed Sightseeing mode, while the Gallery interface has also been given an overhaul, grouping images and video by where and when they were taken.

Perhaps the biggest improvement however is the One X+'s larger 2100mAh battery which should offer a fair bit more screen time than the paltry 1800mAh battery in the original One X. The One X+ also now has 64GB of internal memory.
