HP has introduced two desktop PCs which it claims combine space and energy savings with strong performance and design.
The vendor has unveiled an HP Compaq 6005 Pro Ultra-slim which it claimed offers productivity and security gains, and a new all-in-one consumer device.
"HP has expanded its portfolio with compelling desktop offerings for consumers and businesses that want great performance and design," said Anneliese Olson, director of worldwide product marketing for desktop PCs at HP.
"These new offerings consume less energy, and are proof of our commitment to reducing waste in the design, manufacturing, packaging and transportation of our products."
The Compaq 6005 is 10in high and 2.6in wide, the approximate size of a ream of A4 paper. The PC features AMD processors, integrated ATI Radeon 4200 graphics, DirectX, dual monitor capabilities, 10 USB ports and DDR3 memory for higher bandwidth use.
HP also announced the touch-enabled TouchSmart 600, which has a 23in widescreen display and Intel Core i5 and i3 processor options.
Supporting the touch capabilities are a number of touch-ready applications, including photo editing and design tools.
