Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) unveiled a partner program that encourages ISVs to develop storage applications.
Adrian Deluca, software solutions director A/NZ at HDS said, the new partner program was specifically developed to encourage software vendor partners to develop storage applications.
“The ISV program offers key services to companies that develop software that is interoperable with Hitachi storage solutions, particularly the Content Archive Platform,” he said.
“We want ISV partners to deliver an integrated portfolio of hardware and software components.”
The HDS ISV Partner Program offers partners marketing support, jointly developed collateral such as customer case studies, datasheets, solutions briefs, and the opportunity to post information on the HDS web site.
Partners will also be able to participate in dedicated sales ‘webinars’ and Hitachi Data Systems’ corporate and regional events.
HDS will also offer ISV’s technical support, alliance management and access to its interoperability laboratories.
Partners would also have access to discounted equipment for development and testing and future product roadmaps.
The new program was an addition to HDS’ existing ‘True North’ channel partner program.
