The newly created position will oversee the development of overall offerings for customers. De Luca will also represent HDS Asia Pacific in the new office of global technology and planning (Global OTP) says the company.
De Luca will be responsible for deepening HDS understanding of customer needs and business directions. Combining the insight of economic and technological trends, he will work closely with the team to develop solution offerings that are innovative and aligned to customer requirements.
He will also join the office of global technology and planning which taps into the research and development talent of Hitachi and HDS. The companies are actively working together on initiatives that span industries like healthcare, finance, energy, public safety and retail according to a statement accompanying the announcement.
