Hansen Tech buys US software company

ASX-listed Hansen Technologies has acquired NirvanaSoft, a New York company that provided billing software to electricity and gas utilities.

The acquisition represented about a 50 percent increase in North American revenue for Hansen as it would double Hansen’s customer base in the region, the company claimed.

NirvanaSoft management including CEO Kumar Parameswaran and employees were to join the Hansen team for the services in North America, according to Hansen's statement to the Securities Exchange.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
