An underground hacking group has leaked what appears to be an address book of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The book contains some 60 entries including names and addresses which appear to be those of "friends, and family" of the former PM along with contacts for past and present members of parliament. It also contains Blair's National Insurance Number.
Eve Kay, a Queensland woman listed in the address book confirmed to SC via telephone that she was linked to Blair through her niece who was an assistant to the then PM.
A spokesman at number 10 Downing Street answered a telephone number posted on the address book, and referred SC to contact Blair though his personal website.
An email sent to Blair's website did not receive an immediate response.
Hacking group TeaM P0isN said the address book was taken in December last year from a webmail server allegedly used by Blair and posted on web site pastebin.
The group claimed that the "information in this article ... is 100% legit (sic)" adding that it still has access to the webmail server from where the address were stolen.
More to come.
