Google and Samsung have reportedly teamed up to develop a 10.1in Nexus tablet.
The tablet will pack in more pixels than Apple's latest iPad, with a 2560x1600 display, providing 299ppi, reported CNET. The new iPad's 9.7in 2048x1536 display packs in 264ppi.
The Nexus tablet will reportedly be marketed as a high-end device, with a significantly higher price than the Asus-made $US199 Nexus 7 tablet.
It is reported to debut in December.
Google's Nexus 7 is a 7in Android 4.1 tablet that sits in the same budget space as Amazon’s Kindle Fire (a product that is currently only available in the US).
