ASX-listed dashboard software vendor LiveTiles has appointed former Microsoft global executive David Vander as global director for growth.
The company, which announced the hire in a statement released to the ASX this morning, welcomed Vander, whose tenure at Microsoft spanned more than 16 years across multiple global leadership roles in the US and Asia.
Most recently, Vander was Microsoft’s worldwide industry lead for services. Prior to that, he oversaw the software giant’s strategy as Asia Pacific Services lead.
The role at LiveTiles will see Vander drive the company “through a phase of rapid global growth and support the business in achieving its goals”, according to LiveTiles’ announcement.
Vander said LiveTiles co-founder and CEO Karl Redenbach’s vision for the vendor aligned with his desire to join an ambitious company.
“I am excited by the opportunity to join LiveTiles and look forward to contributing to its next phase of growth as the company focuses on expanding opportunities with customers and partners in key markets,” Vender said.
Redenbach said the hire marked a significant addition to the LiveTiles team.
“[David’s] appetite for innovation, experience servicing a broad range of sectors and extensive senior leadership experience bolsters our team at a time when we are focussed on expanding our global footprint and driving growth in key markets,” he said.
