Observability vendor Gigamon has named Simon Oliver as its new head of channel for Australia.
In his new role, Melbourne-based Oliver will focus on building on Gigamon's channel-first strategy in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), the company said.
Oliver joins Gigamon with over 20 years' experience in senior sales and channel roles across the ANZ region.
“My focus is on meeting customers’ and partners’ needs to drive growth, increase revenue, and expand market share to enhance our overall competitiveness in the marketplace,” said Oliver.
“The ever-changing security landscape is both exciting and challenging, as our partners and customers continue to collaborate to leverage our deep observability capabilities to meet secure and manage their hybrid cloud infrastructure.”
Oliver most recently served as cloud and alliances lead at Cirrus Networks, and prior to that held sales and channel roles at IBM, NetApp, Macquarie Telecom and VMtech.
