Contact centre vendor Genesys has appointed a former ANZ chief at SAS Software to be its managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Clubb spent more than 10 years at SAS Software, in the role of managing director, before moving heading up voice vendor Nuance's Australian and New Zealand operations.
The hiring follows several other high-level appointments by the vendor, including long-time Accenture employee Frances Buccheri as head of marketing for Australia and New Zealand region. Erwann Thomassain also became head of marketing for the Asia-Pacific Region.
Gensys boasts the likes of Telstra, CBA, iiNet, ANZ, Vodafone, NAB and the ATO and DHS as customers in Australia. Partners listed on its web site include Dimension Data, NEC Australia, IBM, UXC Connect and Engage.
