FUJIFILM IT Services, a division of FUJIFILM Business Innovation (BI) Australia, is expanding its cyber security practice, part of the company's long-term strategic investment in developing sovereign cybersecurity capability and delivering security outcomes for Australian organisations.
Key pillars of the investment include the establishment of a Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE), which will serve as a national hub for advanced cyber capability development.
The CoE will aim to drive innovation, continuous service improvement, and knowledge sharing across industry sectors as well as focusing on frameworks such as NIST CSF, Essential Eight maturity uplift, and secure-by-design principles.
FUJIFILM IT Services has also strengthened its partnerships with globally recognised cybersecurity vendors and intelligence providers, ensuring access to what the company describes as best-in-class tools, telemetry, and threat insights.
These alliances support a defence-in-depth approach across endpoint, network, identity, and cloud.
All cyber services provided by FUJIFILM IT Services are delivered using sovereign infrastructure and local talent, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations such as IRAP, CPS 234, and ISO 27001, while providing clients with the assurance of jurisdictional control over their data and security operations.
Back in April, FUJIFILM IT Services successfully achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification.
FUJIFILM IT Services' head of operations, Ken Hickey, said security is no longer just an IT function - it’s a strategic imperative.
"Our clients are looking for trusted partners who bring real-world expertise, not just tools," he said.
"By strengthening our security capabilities, we’re enabling organisations to build operational resilience and align security outcomes with business goals.”
FUJIFILM IT Services continues to integrate its growing security capabilities into its broader managed services portfolio, while also offering standalone security engagements for clients seeking specialist expertise.
In February 2025, FUJIFILM IT Services was rebranded from FUJIFILM CodeBlue Australia.
CodeBlue Australia was originally acquired by FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific in 2020 to support businesses within Australia to navigate their digital future.
