FUJIFILM IT Services has successfully achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification, helping maintain robust information security standards for its customers.
The certification, which upgrades the company's previous ISO 27001:2013 accreditation, validates FUJIFILM's information security management system across multiple security domains including access control, security policies, physical security, and incident management.
The 2022 update reflects modern cybersecurity challenges and incorporates changes to address emerging threats in areas like cloud security, privacy protection, threat intelligence and security in development processes.
This globally recognised security standard represents a milestone for the company and strengthens its 'Secure by Design' approach to managed services.
Ken Hickey, head of operations at FUJIFILM IT Services, said the certification provides assurance to customers about the company's security practices.
"Not only does the ISO 27001 certification validate the work of our team, but it also gives our customers confidence that they are partnering with a managed service provider that prioritises security at every level," Hickey said.
"Our solutions include AI-based endpoint protection and mail filtering as standard, right through to tackling complex technology challenges—all underpinned by ISO 27001-certified processes."
Beyond the certification, FUJIFILM IT Services offers comprehensive cybersecurity services including governance, risk, and compliance, managed security services, and SOC-as-a-Service with 24/7 monitoring.
FUJIFILM Business Innovation, the parent company, has operated since 1962 and changed its name from Fuji Xerox on 1 April 2021.
