Several Australian companies took out EMC Asia-Pacific and Japan business partner awards at the World Global Partner Summit held at EMC World in Las Vegas last week.
Telstra was recognised as cloud service provider partner of the year, while Dimension Data Australia was named the best converged infrastructure partner in the region.
Home-grown solutions provider Data#3 received the services partner of the year award. Data#3 was named CRN MVP in 2015 and 2016 in recognition of its range of gold-level vendor partnerships.
Canberra-based service provider Infront Systems was recognised as XtremIO partner of the year.
The EMC awards recognise distributers, resellers, alliance and cloud service providers across Asia-Pacific for their commitment and their proven ability to help organisations modernise their data centre, according to the vendor.
More than 200 EMC channel and alliances partners across the region attended the global event this year.
