The event will include a presentation on the company's A/NZ channel strategy, an update on its technical support and TAC improvements.
An insight into its financial growth, a local case study and a technology roadmap including a preview of its FortiOS V4.0. operating system.
According to Charlie Cote country manager A/NZ, Fortinet, the economy this year is going to be challenging, but it is also an opportunity for partners to make a profit.
"Consolidation, virtualisation, green initiatives and lower TCO - these will all be the catch-cries in 2009," he said.
Cote believes the FortiOS V4.0. will entrench its dominance in UTM and position Fortinet as a complete gateway solution for goverment, enterprise and SME.
"But it's not just a presentation for sales people and management," said Cote.
"We understand the importance and curiosity of our engineering partners and have structured a separate two-hour technical session to guide customers through FortiOS V4.0 and the updated GUI and technical capabilities," he added.
There will be wine, beer, soft drinks and canapés after the daytime events.
