First custom GTX480 PCB surfaces

NVIDIA's GTX480 card is an impressive beast of a card - totalling 27cm long - but a larger PCB is almost always more expensive.

The first custom PCB for the GTX480 has surfaced from manufacturer Taiyanfa, bringing the length of the PCB down by what appears to be five centimetres.

Not only is it much shorter, but the redesigned GTX480 uses a dual 6-pin connector setup for power, though the design of the board appears fiendishly complex.

It looks to be a great way of cutting down on heat, one of the card's biggest hurdles, and when paired with an aftermarket heatsink this card could be a potent choice.

Check the front of Taiyanfa's PCB out below, via Bright Side of News, as we wait expectantly for other custom designs that are inevitably coming soon from NVIDIA's other partners.
