Wollongong IT consultancy Extranet Systems has been selected as the delivery partner for Acronis' cyber protection services to Brad Jones Racing (BJR) in a new three-year agreement.
The partnership, brings Acronis' integrated cybersecurity and data protection solutions to the Supercars Championship team through the Acronis #TeamUp program.
BJR will receive Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, Advanced Management, Advanced Email Security, and Security Awareness Training as part of the agreement.
"I'm tremendously excited to be able to extend our partnership with Acronis through their #TeamUp program, and we're excited to welcome Extranet Systems to BJR," Brad Jones, team owner, said.
"We have been an Acronis customer for seven years and they have provided such excellent support over that time," Jones said.
The motorsport industry relies heavily on secure data for car performance analysis, telemetry, and race strategy development.
Kelly Johnson, general manager of Acronis ANZ, pointed to the importance of integrated protection solutions.

Extranet Systems will implement the cybersecurity solutions and provide ongoing technical support tailored to motorsport's specific requirements.

Brad Jones Racing has been competing in the Supercars Championship since 2000 and has achieved over 80 podium finishes throughout its history.
