Expotech Melbourne a gadget lover's paradise

At least 700 gadget lovers dropped past the CRN stand at the final Ingram Micro Expotech for the year.

The weather was dark and raining but the crowds were bright and cheery as they hopped from stand to stand trying out the latest technologies.

Storage was sexy at this year's event as many vendors' RAIDs and outboard hard drives proved popular with resellers.

Networking technologies also attracted their share of attention.
