Former chief information and technology officer of ASX-listed funeral company InvoCare Jose Perez has launched a staffing agency specialising in tech recruitment.
Sydney-based TalentDivers provides contract and permanent staffing services to organisations across Australia in the technology, digital and projects sectors.
Perez told CRN Australia that TalentDivers aims to change the way tech companies recruit staff.
“I want to make it less stressful to match clients with great talent," he said.
"I see so many tech recruiters purely focused on meeting their internal KPI’s that they forget about what’s important to their clients and candidates; I want to change this.”
Perez has over 25 years in the IT industry, having served as CIO at HammondCare and Inghams Group, as well as IT director at Energizer, 21st Century Fox Asia Pacific and The Clorox Company.
At InvoCare, he was tasked with recruiting the company's IT staff.
“I am very proud to have worked with such a talented and committed team across all InvoCare's divisions at pace and having been part of all the positive changes made during my time,” Perez said.
