Cyber security specialist distributor emt Distribution has added workspace management solutions vendor Matrix42 in an exclusive partnership inked for Australia and New Zealand.
Matrix42 software is designed to manage modern work environments across physical virtual and mobile workspaces, and allows for flexibility and mobility in modern workforces by allowing users to work remotely using a range of devices while still meeting the regulatory needs of IT departments and businesses, emt said.
“Matrix42 puts organisations in control of user workspaces by automating the discovery, provisioning and patching of software across desktops and mobiles,” emt chief executive Richard Rundle said. “By controlling and simplifying their computing environments they can more easily secure against targeted attacks.
“The cost to Australian and New Zealand business of uncontrolled and unauthorised applications, the struggle to stay on top of mobile infrastructure and the over-investment in software licenses is staggering.
“Controlling, automating and securing the processes and workflows can reduce costs to ANZ businesses by as much as 30 percent.”
Matrix42’s existing customers in Australia include major retailers and financial institutions, and the vendor is betting on its new distribution and channel partnership to drive new growth opportunities, according to chief executive Oliver Bendig.
“The exclusive partnership with emt is an important step for our continued growth in Australia and New Zealand,” he said. “The Asia-Pacific region is a significant market for us, which we can develop together with emt and our regional partners.”
The partnership sees MAtrix42 adopt a 100 percent channel sales model in ANZ. The vendor is offering reseller partners opportunities in consulting, implementation and support.
“We offer our partners not only exciting local and global projects but also access to our customers and thus business opportunities beyond the projects,” Philippe Ortodoro, senior VP of global sales for Matrix42 said.
Emt Distribution has bolstered its team to support its Matrix42 practice, adding two new staff members.
