Powerline products vendor, Emerson Network Power appointed ex-Ingram Micro Steve Lovelace to the position of NSW channel account manager.
The newly created position would see Lovelace take responsibility for all channel activities in NSW for Emerson’s Liebert range of Micro UPS products.
He would be assisting resellers with a range of services including technical support and bid preparation.
He said his immediate priority at Emerson is to educate resellers on the need for proper power protection in today’s rapidly converging business environments.
“Ten years ago power protection wasn’t considered essential but today it’s mandatory. The message we’re taking to our resellers is that power protection should be part and parcel of every network sale, and we are working closely with our channel partners to make that happen.”
Lovelace joins Emerson following seven years in the Australian IT channel, including a three-year spell at Ingram Micro, where he was responsible for managing the Liebert product portfolio at Australia’s largest distributor.
