Sydney managed technology services provider EFEX Group has acquired regional Victoria-based Cloud Copy Click (CCC).
The Bendigo-headquartered company works with local businesses and schools, providing technology and office solutions including business process improvements, cost efficiencies and digital transformation work.
The deal will see EFEX expand its presence in both regional Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales, absorbing CCC’s branches in Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton, Mildura in Victoria, Berri in SA and Albury and Broken Hill in NSW.
EFEX said CCC is a “perfect fit” for the organisation as it looks to serve both metro and regional communities across Australia.
“The office technology sector is changing rapidly as a result of the digital disruption of the global economy,” EFEX chief executive Nick Sheehan said.
“We have been looking at the Victorian market as a growth opportunity for a while and chose to partner with CCC – not just for their excellent record of customer service, but also their close community ties and family values.”
Sheehan added the two companies share the same beliefs when dealing with customers.
The acquisition puts EFEX's headcount at around 200 staff across 20 branches, including a recently opened office in Lismore, NSW and its acquisition of Queensland-based Think Office Technology in June 2018.
EFEX appeared in the CRN Fast50 list from 2015 to 2017, finishing second in both 2015 and 2016, and 17th in 2017.
