Efex has expanded its Managed Cyber offering into a suite of four solutions in a move the company said is designed to meet the evolving cyber security and IT support needs of businesses across Australia.
The new suite includes Managed Cyber Essentials, Managed Cyber Premium and Managed Cyber Apex, building on the existing solution of Managed Cyber Zero, which launched in 2024.
Each Managed Cyber tier is either aligned with or informed by the ACSC Essential Eight framework, offering a structured pathway for organisations to strengthen their cyber posture as they grow.
Designed for startups and small businesses, Managed Cyber Zero provides IT support and baseline cyber protections including endpoint detection and response, ransomware detection and response, monitoring, software updates, advanced phishing defence, vulnerability scanning and more, ideal for small teams who need reliable coverage without complexity.
Tailored for small to mid-sized businesses, Managed Cyber Essentials introduces phishing training, dark web ID monitoring, and 24/7 SOC monitoring for Microsoft 365 environments, being a "strong fit" for organisations scaling quickly and looking to proactively manage risk.
Built for mid-sized to large businesses, Managed Cyber Premium adds advanced conditional access, application whitelisting, and 24/7 SOC monitoring for endpoints and servers, being "particularly suited" to organisations in regulated industries or those with compliance obligations.
Efex's most advanced offering, Managed Cyber Apex, is designed for enterprises operating in heavily compliant or high-risk environments, delivering full-spectrum protection, phishing simulations, technology roadmapping and cyber reporting.
The entire Managed Cyber suite is a subscription-based service and each tier includes managed IT support.
Earlier this year, efex acquired Datcom, a mid-market managed cyber security service provider.
