DXN awarded $1.4m contract by global comms and IT services provider

DXN, a prefabricated modular data centre specialist, has been awarded a $1.4 million contract by a global communications and IT services provider.

Under the contract, DXN will design, build and install a multi-module solution to support an end customer with an edge data centre.

The multi-module solution comprises prefabricated modules housing critical equipment, which will be integrated on-site in the Pacific. The scope includes design, build, installation, and commissioning.

The project is targeting completion by the end of June 2026, contributing to DXN's FY26 revenue pipeline.

The customer connects remote operations for industries globally; this initiative aims to boost internet connectivity across the Pacific and assist with a global ground network by mid-2026.

Additionally, DXN will receive approximately $0.7 million via variation and expansion orders for an existing Structcore project.

DXN's StructCore enables customers to convert and reuse their existing indoor space or brownfield sites to support high density data centres with a customised prefabricated indoor solution.

"We are thrilled to be awarded this landmark project, which not only expands our footprint in the Asia-Pacific but also leverages our modular construction capabilities to support cutting-edge infrastructure," Shalini Lagrutta, MD of DXN, said.

"This award reinforces DXN’s position as a trusted partner of innovative, prefabricated solutions for mission-critical applications."

Already this year, DXN has been awarded a $1.8 million contract to deliver a prefabricated modular Cable Landing Station for APTelecom; a $2 million contract by DP World Australia to deliver two high-performance modular data centres; a $4.6 million contract with Globalstar for the design, prefabrication, and delivery of three high-specification modular data centre units; and a $1.6 million contract with Ventia, who will be supporting a major Australian telco and infrastructure owner.
