Matt George has joined US-based technology solution provider World Wide Technology in the role of client executive.

Based in Sydney, George's role centres on aligning technology investment with strategic business priorities - helping organisations modernise platforms, unlock productivity, strengthen resilience and build operating models suited for an AI-shaped future.

George was previously a senior sales executive at DXC Technology, partnering with senior industry and government stakeholders to shape and deliver digital transformation, infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity strategy and emerging AI priorities.

His time at the company saw him advise organisations on enterprise risk posture and aim to drive proactive security outcomes across their environments, spanning threat intelligence, regulatory compliance and operational resilience. He also applied cyber and cloud experience across R&D initiatives including critical infrastructure and SOCI uplift programs, quantum risk assessments and broader contributions to cyber education and mentoring.

Prior to DXC, he worked at the likes of Deloitte Australia, Telstra and data centre and cloud security vendor vArmour, where he served as country manager for Australia and New Zealand.

In a post on LinkedIn, George said that very quickly, it became clear how naturally this role aligns with the way he has always believed meaningful work gets done.

"Build strong relationships. Listen carefully. Understand the realities inside complex organisations before moving to solutions," he said.

"What has stood out most in these early days is the quality of the people. Thoughtful, experienced, collaborative professionals who care about doing good work the right way. I’m energised by what lies ahead - for WWT, for our clients, and for me personally - and by the opportunity to help organisations move forward with greater clarity and confidence."
