Former Dropbox channel chief Greg Kieser has joined end-point security vendor Ziften as its new country manager for ANZ.

Ziften was founded in 2009 in Texas. Its primary software product provides real-time visibility for threat detection and mitigation for enterprise customer devices, servers and virtual machines.

Kieser joined Dropbox in March 2016 as its first-ever head of partner sales for ANZ. He left in November last year after close to two years with the cloud file storage vendor as part of an internal restructure.

Dropbox signed Ingram Micro as its first Australian distributor for Dropbox for Business a month after Kieser joined, who said that the ultimate goal was to set up both direct and channel sales teams in Australia.

Kieser has been contacted for comment.

Dropbox is yet to announce whether it will appoint a replacement head of partner sales for ANZ as part of the restructure. Dropbox has been contacted for comment.

Last year also saw Dropbox managing director Charlie Wood left after nearly three years in the role. He was replaced by former SurveyMonkey managing director and Microsoft executive Tony Ward.
