Distribution Central becomes MobileIron's sole distie

Mobile enterprise security vendor MobileIron has signed Distribution Central as its exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand.

Distribution Central will sell the US-based vendor’s enterprise mobility management platform, which is designed to secure data-at-rest on mobile devices in apps and cloud storage.

MobileIron was previously distributed locally via Arrow ECS and M Tech. A statement from MobileIron director of marketing and products APJ Jon Anderson said: "We’re consolidating our distribution for Australia and New Zealand by streamlining our go-to-market under Distribution Central.

"With their extensive experience and technical expertise in Enterprise Security, along with the quality of their support services and ability to scale we’re confident that MobileIron will continue to expand market share in the ANZ region."

MobileIron’s security platform was recently integrated into a new managed app service deployed across a number of law enforcement agencies in Australia by Sydney-based provider MSC Mobility.

Distribution Central also signed on multinational data centre infrastructure vendor Emerson Network Power in September, and global communications vendor Unify in July.
