Dijital Team has launched Better Business Pathway, an enablement program designed to support IT Service Providers, MSPs and TSPs in building more scalable and profitable businesses.
The Better Business Pathway is built around five areas: Service Operations Pathway, Finance Operations Pathway, People Operations Pathway, Sales & Marketing Operations Pathway and Go To Market Operations Pathway.
Participants gain access to frameworks, coaching, and tools that can be immediately applied within their businesses.
Diana Drury, Dijital Team’s recently-hired customer enablement manager who is leading the program, said the five areas were chosen in relation to what the company was hearing from the wider ecosystem of focuses that they need help in.
“[Some MSPs] need enablement for the team in technical aspects - talking about learning and working on new products - as well as 'how to MSP’”, Drury told techpartner.news, providing the example of customer service training to make sure team members are doing the right things in terms of how to work with clients.
“I think there's a huge focus on owners and leaders that needs to happen. There's a lot of things being thrown at everyone, there's a lot of new products and vendors which is fantastic, but sometimes fitting that into what you deliver as your core services, as your core business [requires] you to take a step back and say ‘what is the actual goal of my business? How am I going to execute on the promises that I'm delivering?’.
“That comes back to making sure they're delivering profitably, making sure that they are continuously around for their customers and delivering on that promise, but also for their team and themselves and people around them. We want to make sure that businesses make money and are strong for the future.”
Drury said that in her conversations with MSPs, many are trying to take their business to “that next level”, but are still spending time on low-level tasks.
“I have the conversation with owners all the time who say ‘I can't find the time to do this’ and then I work through their day and it’s like ‘you're still working on level one tickets. You need to give that away’,” she explained.
“You need to have someone who's going to be able to tell you that. You need to find a community - whether it's through the Better Business Pathway or other programmes out there - to find the people who will hold you to account and either tell you what you need to do or help you figure that out.”
