Digital World Warehouse expands portfolio

Panda Security has appointed Digital World Warehouse to distribute the entire range of Panda Security products across Australia.

The partnership will further expand Panda's position in Australia after it launched a locally based Australian partner (representative) earlier this year.

"Panda has been around for 20 years with its birthday last month, but until now has had little profile in Australia and New Zealand," said Philip Cobby, Panda Security's Australian country partner.

For the last two years, Panda was sold in Australia via online sales from Spain.

"Digital World Warehouse sought us out and they liked our product and with that they were looking for a change," said Cobby.

Digital World Warehouse previously distributed AVG security in Australia but has now replaced it with Panda "purely for pricing and performance", said Eden Fridman, managing director at Digital World Warehouse.

Panda Security has various product lines including security software, security appliances and managed security services.

"We are excited by this new partnership," said Fridman.

Meanwhile, Digital World Warehouse has also signed an exclusive distribution agreement across Australia and New Zealand with Coolmod Spain, the worldwide distributor of SpeedBlack gaming products.

"A lot of our resellers are selling high end gaming machines so we are quite excited, it's a huge deal for the Australian market and it's exclusive for two years," said Fridman.
