Dicker Data has inked a deal with security vendor WatchGuard that will see Dicker gain access to WatchGuard’s full suite of products, including its unified threat management (UTM) devices.
Typcially UTM solutions aggregate a variety of security functions such as firewalling, network intrusion prevention, anti spam and anti virus, VPN, content filtering, load balancing and other services into a single device.
Dicker chief David Dicker said, in a statement, the signing of WatchGuard aligns with his company’s needs and the demands of its resellers. “Together there is an opportunity to develop strong synergies between our businesses,” he said.
WatchGuard’s Regional Director, Australia and New Zealand, Pat Devlin, said “We are very excited about this new partnership. Dicker Data has enjoyed huge growth over the last three years and this partnership now opens up opportunities for WatchGuard to connect with new partners.”
Dicker is WatchGuard’s third distribution partner in Australia, joining Distribution Central and WhiteGold Solutions.
