Dicker Data takes wraps off cloud marketplace

Dicker Data used the first stop of its new TECHx national roadshow in Brisbane last night take the wraps off its cloud marketplace.

Dubbed CloudPortal, the marketplace covers infrastructure, business continuity, security and compliance, applications and services.

Resellers can use the portal to manage subscriptions from a variety of vendors, including:

• Infrastructure: APC, Cisco, Fujitsu, Lenovo, HP, Intel, Citrix, Microsoft Azure, IBM Softlayer, Telstra, NextDC
• Security: Cisco, RSA, Symantec, Trustwave, Arcserve, Storagecraft
• Backup: Arcserve, Erwin, Cloudrecover, Storagecraft, Symantec, Trustwave,
• Applications: CA, Erwin, Microsoft, SAP, Novell, Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft Office 365, Groupwsie, RSA

Dicker Data also provides solution architecture, pre-sales, sales, deployment and implementation services.

Resellers can also white label the marketplace as if it was their own for no extra charge, giving customers a portal to track and manage their commitments, renewals and subscriptions.

Dicker Data recently stated it had 13 vendor partners where it is distributing cloud-based solutions.
