Department of Home Affairs seeks end user services provider

The Department of Home Affairs (Department) has approached the market to find a single service bundle for the provision of end user services (EUS).

The Department has said it seeks the delivery of EUS in order to meet the current and evolving future requirements of its Authorised End Users to access the Department’s technology "securely, simply and seamlessly, to support a modern and dynamic way of working".

The Department is seeking a service provider who can deliver workplace services, focusing on the management and support of End-User Computing (EUC) devices and software across the customer ICT environment.

This includes desktop devices, laptops, Microsoft Windows tablets, monitors, specialist peripherals, application management, and technical support services.

The service provider will also handle a single-point-of-contact entry into the Department for all technical IT issues on a 24x7 basis, inclusive of a service desk technology solution.

Service management support services and Secret ICT support services are required, as well a set of common services, including ITIL service management practices and security services.

The Department’s IT Environment is currently multi-sourced, with its IT capabilities  provided through a combination of in-house resources and external service provider contracts to deliver workplace, network, compute, storage, platform, security, data centre facilities and service desk capabilities.

The majority of the Department’s Authorised End Users access PROTECTED technology services.

The Department also operates and maintains SECRET ICT services, which are delivered via the Australian Secret Network and Customs Secret Network and is made available to both the Department  and other government agencies.

A virtual industry briefing will be held on 25 June at 2:00pm.

The estimated commencement date is 1 July 2026.
