The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development has awarded Deloitte with a contract to provide IT services.
The $1.4 million contract covers program management and service design for the implementation of a new unspecified IT system.
A department spokesperson did not reveal further detail on the IT system, but told CRN that Deloitte was selected based on “Value for money based on an assessment in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules”.
Tender documents reveal Deloitte was chosen from the department’s own IT services panel, which covers either the provision of IT contract personnel and/or specialist services through an organisation.
The contract was signed in November 2019 and runs until March 2021.
