Deloitte continues enterprise technology acquisition spree with consultancy firm JKVine

Deloitte has acquired Melbourne-based consultancy firm JKVine for an undisclosed sum, expanding the professional services company’s enterprise business offerings.

JKVine joins Deloitte’s other recent acquisitions Sixtree, Strut Digital and Cloud Solutions Group to form an enterprise business technology team within the professional services firm.

“This deal allows us to complete the proposition we’re taking to market around how to design, build, run and optimise tech-based platforms for our clients,” Clifford Foster, Deloitte consulting partner and platform engineering leader, said.

“With the first class talent of JKVine’s team, we can deliver superior value to our clients and the broader market to ensure platforms perform optimally, securely and flexibly.”

JKVine’s four owners — Nick Singh, Dave Melgaard, Brad Cunningham, John Strumila — join Deloitte as principals while more than thirty JKVine staff will join Deloitte’s Melbourne and Sydney offices.

The new additions will form a new platform test and optimisation unit within Deloitte’s platform engineering practice headed by Foster.

Founded in 1998, JKVine specialises in performance engineering and testing for business systems.

As part of the deal, the company will be bringing its experience in platform test management, test execution platform monitoring and optimisation capability to Deloitte’s enterprise technology offerings.

Earlier this month, Deloitte acquired Sydney-based Concur partner Nesoi Solutions, with its staff joining the services giant’s advisory team as directors.
