Deloitte acquires Sydney-based Concur partner Nesoi Solutions

Deloitte has acquired Concur partner Nesoi Solutions as well as signing a strategic alliance with the travel and expenses SaaS vendor, which is owned by SAP.

Nesoi, based in the Sydney suburb of Coogee, claims to be the longest-standing delivery partner of Concur, which provides cloud-based travel, expense and invoice management solutions.

The acquisition will see Nesoi director Mick Lavers become a Deloitte advisory partner, and Nesoi's three other staff will join Deloitte's Sydney-based advisory team as directors.

“Employees and management are often on different pages when it comes to the traditional processes used to manage travel, expenses and accounts payable,” Deloitte advisory partner Greg Haskins said.

“Concur provides a way for businesses to streamline and automate their finance processes and improve productivity across the whole organisation and we’re seeing a lot of interest in the accounts payable automation solution in particular. We use Concur ourselves at Deloitte because it’s the best in its class and supports a mobile workforce.”

Nesoi joins a string of local tech companies to be acquired by Deloitte over several years, including Dataweave, Cloud Solutions Group, Sixtree, Cinder Agency, Plenary Networks and Strut Digital.

Nesoi's Lavers said he was looking forward to joining to consulting giant.

"Being a part of Deloitte provides scale and leverages our experience from more than 70 Concur clients. Deloitte provides significant market reach and confidence that we will have the resources to maximise the opportunities for accounts payable automation and improved management of travel and expenses,” he said.

Concur's ANZ managing director, Matt Goss, said Nesoi's addition to Deloitte would enhance the consultant's existing Concur practice and service expertise.

"This will provide businesses in Australia and New Zealand with another key channel to access the Concur spend management platform. It will also allow Concur to further extend our presence in the market,” Goss said.
