Dell Boomi's Asia-Pacific and Japan managing director Michael Evans has departed the cloud-based integration vendor, and has joined CRM vendor Pegasystems.
Pegasystems said Evans will take on the newly created role of vice president for Australia and New Zealand.
“Michael has been critical in our expansion throughout Asia-Pacific and Japan over the last three years. We thank him for his contributions, and wish him the best in his future ventures,” a Dell Boomi spokesperson told CRN.
“We are currently evaluating candidates to fill the vacant position.”
In his new role, Evans is tasked to further scale out Pegasystems' operations in Australia and New Zealand. The vendor said its headcount has "more than doubled" in the last four years.
“Pega has proven technology that resonates with the market, and I’m excited to join the company to help accelerate this success and our clients’ digital transformation journeys,” Evans said.
“I’m looking forward to working with such a highly motivated team and in a culture centred around making our clients as successful as possible.”
Evans joined Dell Boomi in 2016, following an eight-year stint at Software AG in various sales roles in Australia. He also worked at consumer credit reporting company Experian in a number of sales roles.
“Michael joins us with the right experience, having led many high-performance enterprise sales teams to success," Pegasystems APAC vice president and managing director Luke McCormack said.
“Pega is a great place to work, and I know that Michael will have all the resources he needs to succeed and continue the momentum we’ve been driving in the market.”
