CRN Fast50 alumnus Data#3 has wrapped up its JuiceIT roadshow after visiting several cities around Australia, with just under 30 vendors and an ABC television personality in tow.
The conference aims to connect customers with Data#3’s top tier technology partners. This year customers including Brisbane City Counil, Leighton Contractors, Virgin Australia and Queensland Health gained direct access to representatives from Data#3 diamond partners and JuiceIT sponsors HP and Intel, platinum partner VMware, and gold partners Cisco, Adobe, IBM, Microsoft and Symantec.
Host of the ABC’s New Inventors program James O’Loghlin was on hand to deliver a keynote based on the overall theme of innovation. O’Loghlin discussed ways companies can generate innovative thinking by better organising work practices, advising against simply increasing R&D investment, advocating streamlining practices to allow more time for idea generation.
Data#3 managing director John Grant echoed the theme in his keynote, explaining how an innovative approach to products and services, marketing methods and organisation within a company leads to a prosperous outcome.
The roadshow travelled through Brisbane, Adelaide, and new host Perth, reaching more than 800 customers via over 30 sessions. The cloud was a hot topic among presentations given by Data#3’s premium partners, which also covered collaboration, mobility and end-user computing. Vendor speakers also included the likes of Lenovo, McAfee, Veeam, Sophos and Websence.
Customers were also given the opportunity for a hands-on with the latest Data#3 vendor technologies via a ‘customer immersion experience’.
This is the fourth year of JuiceIT’s existence. Grant said offering customers an opportunity to go in-depth with Data#3’s solution experts and strategies proved to be a drawcard year after year.
