Darwin-based IT solutions provider Area9 has won a pair of contracts to supply desktops and laptops to the Northern Territory government.
The company won the contracts with a tender for HP products, worth approximately $4 million for desktops and $3 million for laptops. The three-year contracts include both supply and maintenance for the devices for NT government staff in metro, regional and rural areas.

CRN understands the NT government previously weren't using HP devices for staff.

Area9's procurement, services centre and service delivery teams based in Darwin will handle supply chain delivery requirements, as well as meeting contractual obligations and co-ordinating support activities.
Area9 has offices in Darwin and Queensland. The company partners with HP, as well as Microsoft, Adobe, Citrix, VMware, Cisco, Lenovo and Apple to provide a range of cloud services, IT, security and hardware solutions.
