CyberCert has validated the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud platform against all levels of the SMB1001 cybersecurity standard.
The validation confirms that MSPs using the platform can help their SMB clients meet the requirements for certification.

On the Acronis partnership, Etteridge said the collaboration simplifies the certification process by aligning the technical controls required for SMB1001 within a single, integrated platform.
The platform includes integrated backup, recovery, endpoint protection (EDR/XDR/MDR), RMM, email security, patch management, vulnerability assessment, and Microsoft 365 security posture management.
Acronis chief information security officer Gerald Beuchelt said the validation enables MSPs to “deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity and certification in the most accessible way for SMBs”.
