CyberArk adds new tier structure, deal registration discounts to new partner program

Security vendor CyberArk has added new competency-based tiers and new deal registration incentives to its partner program.

Partners can now be an Authorized, Certified or Advanced partner based on their competencies and on what best matches their specific business model. The vendor didn’t go into specifics, but said partners also get successively more lucrative incentives as they move up tiers.

CyberArk also extended its deal registration incentive called the standards deal registration advantages to new partners. The program gives partners additional discounts when they register new opportunities, upon approval.

ANZ channel manager Bruce Nixon told CRN the new tier structure would allow CyberArk to see which partners are committed to the certifications.

“In our experience, partner organisations that invest in technical or sales expertise tend to succeed,” Nixon said.

“By tying the whole program around competency, we see the benefit to our partners who are making the investment in time and effort to get certified.”

CyberArk also added new Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and Certified Pre-Sales Engineer (CPE) modules to its comprehensive training and certification programs. New sales and marketing tools and programs were also added to the partner portal, aiming to help partners build demand and differentiation in the market.

“These tools can help create things like sales playbooks that can include what we consider ‘best practices approaches’ based on different vertical markets,” Nixon said.

“From a marketing perspective, partners can also download pre-built campaigns, which partners can roll out directly to their customer base.”
