Sydney-based 5G specialist MobileCorp has achieved ISO 27001 Information Security Management Services and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certifications.
The firm said the certifications reflect MobileCorp’s "determination to keep pushing the boundaries with deploying innovative 5G networking, while ensuring robust information security and quality management."
Established in 1981, MobileCorp offers services covering 5G connectivity, mobility, data networks, unified communications, Essential 8 security, cloud and managed IT.
“In this age of heightened cyber risk, we believe these two standards will become the benchmark for all MSPs aiming to earn the trust of their clients and establish their credibility in this industry," said Stephen Aravopoulos, managing director of MobileCorp.
“ISO 27001 demonstrates to our customers that we are dedicated to managing their data responsibly. ISO 9001 reflects our commitment to continuous improvement of systems and processes to deliver the highest standards of customer service and risk mitigation."
“Achieving these internationally recognised standards, showcases the maturity of our business, and the commitment of our team to service excellence. This is a significant milestone for us, as a medium-sized MSP, and one of the few Telstra enterprise partners, to hold both these certifications.”
In August 2023, the firm was recognised as the best in the Workforce Empowerment at the 2023 Impact Awards for its work with the Queensland-based Gidarjil Development Corporation.
MobileCorp's work helped First Nations communities connect to country with an aerial and underwater drone program that utilised the public 5G network.
The firm was also named mobility partner of the year at the 2023 Telstra Enterprise Partner Awards in November 2023.
